QMAS Points Scenario-
QMAS Visa has been introduced for those intellectual souls who possess the skills and yearning to enhance their career array in the dynamic land of Hong Kong. General Point Test System
Under this, there are five point-scoring factors which are as follows:

| Additional point will be given for those who possess less than 2 years experiences with international exposure | 15 |
| Language Proficiency | |
| Proficient in speaking and writing in the Chinese language (Putonghua or Cantonese) and English | 20 |
| Proficient in at least one foreign language, in addition to written and speaking in Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese) or English | 15 |
| Proficient in English of Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese) | 10 |
| Family Background | |
| Having at least one member of family (married spouse, parents, siblings, children) is a Hong Kong permanent resident. | 5 |

Achievement-based points test
Achievements-based point test features two criteria, wherein, an applicant needs to meet anyone of the two criteria to qualify for QMAS Visa, those criteria are:
- The applicant must hold an award of exceptional achievement such as the Nobel prize, Olympic medals, etc.
The applicant can show that his/her work has been acknowledged by his peers or has contributed immensely to his/her area of interest.
