  3. Masters Graduate Stream

 

If you want to apply under the Ontario’s Express Entry Streams then you need to have your profile listed in the Federal Government’s Express Entry Stream and get the notification of Interest from Ontario.

 

Overview

 

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Programm is actually the province’s economic immigration program that would work in partnership with the Government of Canada via Immigration, Refugees as well as Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Employer job offer category

 

There are three streams in the category of Employer Job Offer Category. To qualify in this category, first and foremost, you need to have a full time as well as a permanent job offer from an employer from Ontario.

  1. The stream for the foreign worker: This stream is applicable for the workers who are skilled.
  2. The stream for International Students: This stream is for those who have recently graduated from Ontario.

 

Human capital category

 

There are two subcategories in The category of human capital and these are:

  1. The international graduate stream.
  2. Ontario’s Express Entry stream.

 

International graduates

 

In case, you want to qualify under the Masters Graduate category then you need to have a graduate degree from a recognized university at Ontario and your application must be made within two years of obtaining your degree.

However, there are two streams:

  1. Masters Graduate Stream.
  2. PhD Graduate Stream.

 

 

Ontario’s Express Entry

 

For being eligible to apply under this stream, you have to first get the notification of interest from Ontario. Also, you need to have an updated profile with your current work experience, education, language tests etc in the federal Govt.’s express entry system.

For the stream of French-Speaking Skilled Worker: In case, you are a skilled worker with proficiency in the French language as well as English along with the required work experience then you can apply in this stream.

For the stream of Human Capital Priorities: This stream is for the skilled workers who have the required work experience, language proficiency in French/ English as well as education.

For the stream of Skilled Trades: This stream is for the workers who have work experience in Ontario with the eligible trade occupation.

Business category

There is only one stream in the business category. To be eligible, you have to be an entrepreneur from somewhere out of Canada who is thinking of implementing a new business idea to grow an existing business that is based in Ontario.

 

Application process

 

While applying for permanent residence, you need to make sure that:

  1. You have the required qualifications.

After your stream is selected, you can apply under that after ensuring that you meet all the requirements of the stream.

  1. Make an application to get the nomination by the government of Ontario.

After choosing your stream, you need to make an online application via the portal at OINP which takes you about three hours.

The cost of the application form:

  • The stream for an employer job offer as well as the human capital streams would cost you about $1,500 or $2,000.
  • The stream for business would be about $3,500.

The payments are only made via Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and MasterCard Debit.

  1. Apply to the Government of Canada for permanent residence

After completion of your application and getting your nomination by the Govt. of Ontario, you can apply for PR through us. The decision whether you would obtain a PR or not would be made by the Govt. of Canada.
