Canada Spouse Visa-

The Spouse visa Canada allows the citizens and the Canadian permanent residents to sponsor their spouse or a common-law partner or a conjugal partner who is currently residing outside of Canada and wishes to live in Canada.

For this visa, the Canadian government defines spousal arrangements in the following ways

• A Spouse: A spouse is of the opposite or the same sex. It is compulsory that legal marriage should have been taken between both of you and it must be registered with the authorities of the native state.
• A Common-Law Partner: A common-law partner is a person of the opposite or same sex who you have lived within a conjugal relationship for at least one year. You are supposed to provide proof that you have set up a household together.
• A Conjugal Partner: A conjugal partner is a common-law partner who you have not been able to live with each other continuously for one year or a spouse who is unable to marry legally because of certain other reasons such as a same-sex partner, territorial jurisdiction.

Documents Required  

Certain documents are necessary to be submitted and you need to provide for Canada Dependent Visa for Spouse such as:

• Certificate of Marriage: You must submit the certificate of marriage from the city, province or country in which your marriage was solemnized.
• Bonafide Intention to live together: Another important aspect is that you have to prove that you intend to live together in Canada when your spouse would be permitted with the permanent residency Visa. Moreover, you have to prove that your relationship is genuine not just to get the Permanent Residency Visa.
• Undertaking for Basic Needs: You would have to enter into an agreement and sign an undertaking that you are committed to and would provide and take care of all the basic needs of your spouse.
