Alberta immigrant nominee program (AINP)-

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is considered to be one of the Canadian immigration selection systems that would provide the platform through which applicants can apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency Visa. This Program requires the applicants must have the specific skills and abilities to fill the job vacancies available in Alberta.

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is run by the Alberta government as well as the federal government of Canada. This program has been operated by the Alberta government in collaboration with the federal government of Canada.

Certain immigration streams are part of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. Some of them are as follows:

• The Alberta Opportunity Stream: This stream allows individuals who meet the stream’s minimum eligibility requirements and needs and are presently working in Alberta in an eligible occupation to apply for an AINP provincial nomination.
• The Alberta Express Entry Stream: This stream allows the Government of Alberta to nominate eligible candidates from Canada’s Express Entry system. Any of the successful nominations under this stream would be beneficial as it results in 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System points.
• The Self-Employed Farmer Stream: This stream allows individuals with the background of any farming experience or agricultural experience and possesses sufficient personal funds to purchase and develop a farm in Alberta that can apply for the permanent residency Visa. Successful applicants are farm owners/operators who plan to live in Alberta to purchase and manage their farming business.

If an applicant gets the nomination through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), then that applicant becomes eligible to apply for a permanent residency visa, wherein they can get an opportunity to stay in Canada with their spouse or dependent children.

Eligibility for Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program 

Certain conditions need to be fulfilled for the Canadian Permanent Residency Visa under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program such as good medical conditions, no criminal record and security clearances.
